Obon, Obon, Obon! It was such a great festival! I went with Addie's family (and boy were they loads of fun 8D) and their family friend, Tori (whom Addie calls her second mom). When we arrived, so many people of so many different races were there! I mean, I didn't know so many people like Japanese stuff (cept the food of course!)! The festival was mainly about dancing, which took about 2 hours, but well worth the watch. Her sister, Tess, and I went to a Japanese grocery store and bought Calpico ice cream and enjoy that (not to metion gyoza, beef teryaki, udon, Imagawa Yaki, and strawberry shortcake). Hmm.....Addie--when she had to change into her yukata(kimono?) went to another family friend's place, Miyuki's, and changed there. Miyuki was nice and her daughter, Emi, was so adorable! I think she only speaks Japanese (because when a friend of Miyuki's came w/ her own daughter, she completely understood and stuff)! Darn, that was so awesome. So, we watched them dance, played a few carnival games (and lost) we went back home and stuff. Lemme tell ya, it was off the shizz! When I got home, I passed out from aftershock-excitement. That was awesome.
Yo Addie, take me next year too, okay? 8D
